Married Elizabeth TURLE in St Mary Magdalen Taunton.2 Two of the witnesses were James and Elizabeth Turle. This was almost certainly Elizabeth's uncle James and his wife Elizabeth nee Forrest who were in Taunton at the time. The other witness' signature is not clear but is possibly AL Bowden. |

The entry in the Public Records Office Wills for Robert Turle ref: Prob 11/1463 August the 4th 1803
The will and testament of Robert Turle I give to my two children Betsey and Robert three quarters of a hundred vested in the consolidated three per cent Annuities also the sum of thirteen Guineas a six and thirty piece and three crown pieces and all my clothes to my son Robert.

On the twenty second day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven administration with the will[…..] of all and singular the goods chattels and[…..] of Robert Turle late of Taunton St Mary Magdalen in the county of Somerset deceased was granted to Elizabeth Newbery (wife of John Newbery) the natural and lawful daughter and next of kin to the said deceased having been first sworn by commission only to administrator - No executor or Residuary Legatee having been named in the said will.
