- This is almost certainly John Turle, the grocer, who was made bankrupt whilst trading as the London Cash Stores and living at 21 Barton-street, Gloucester.
The bankrupcy debtors petition was filed on 18 April 1894, ref 16 of 1894, with the receiving order issued on the same day.
The first meeting was of the creditors was scheduled for 3 May 1894 at 12 noon at the Official Receiver's Office at 15 King Street, Gloucester. The Public Examination was scheduled for 29 May 1894 at 12 noon at the Shirehall Gloucester and the order for Summary Administration was issued on 21 April 1894.
The bankrupcy trustee was the Official Receiver, Charles Scott of 15 King Street, Gloucester. The last day for receiving proofs was 29 June 1894.
The first and final payment was settled at 2s 1 6/7d in the pound payable on 13 July 1894.
The Official Receiver was released on 14 Nov 1894.5
