The Family Book of Bakewell Page Campbell can be obtained by calling Allen County Public Library at 218 421 1200. A form will be mailed to you on which to complete your request. A copy of the book costs approx. $30.00 It contains much information and traces ancestry to llth century, but please be advised that I did not find in the index the surname Marshall. If you establish a connection to Robert Bakewell, the noted pioneer in breeding of sheep (circa 1725) this book would be very useful or if you can are aware of any family connection to John James Audubon's wife Lucy Green Bakewell the book will be of value. This Family Book of Bakewell Page and Campbell published in 1896 identifies a James Herbert Bakewell born to Robert Simpson Bakewell of Hampstead and his wife Sarah Jane Turle. James was born at Hampstead 10 May 1863, he married 1 June 1889, Sarah Jane
Gertrude Evans daughter of Evan Evans, M.D. At the time of this book they had one sone, Brian Bakewell born 5 April 1890.
